Who it serves
The offering serves individuals investing savings, businesses managing liquidity and advisers supporting clients. Fima provides funds with different assets and horizons; Inviu connects the adviser relationship with tools for viewing and managing investments. Needing daily access to cash differs from investing over a long horizon.
How the business works
Three functions should be separated. Fima offers mutual funds, where investors buy units in a portfolio. Galicia Securities provides capital-market services. Inviu supplies a platform connecting advisers and investors. Management and transaction fees pay for services; money invested in a fund does not become Galicia revenue in its entirety.
What drives this activity
Assets under management, subscriptions and redemptions, fund mix, customer activity and effective fees matter. Assets can rise through inflows or market prices, which are different growth sources. Fund-unit returns are not the manager’s profit margin. Technology, service and distribution create ongoing relationship costs.

- Fima: liquidity, bonds and equities
Fima separates money-market, bond, mixed-asset and equity funds. Fima Premium and Fima Acciones illustrate different needs: managing near-term cash and holding stock-market exposure. Currency, holdings and redemption timing vary between funds. The business manages customers’ investments; fund units are neither bank deposits nor a promise of a fixed return.

Its place in Grupo Financiero Galicia
Galicia brings together several ways of managing money: Banco Galicia, Naranja X, insurance and investment funds. The stock represents an interest in the group; its results combine bank lending, fees and the activities of individual subsidiaries.
Economics of the whole company
Business economics · explained by La Plata
Customers, operations & revenue
Individuals use Banco Galicia and Naranja X to pay, save and finance purchases; businesses need accounts, collections and credit. The group connects these relationships with insurance and investment management. Lending earns interest, while managing funds and providing services earns fees. Client money held in an investment fund is not group revenue.
What shapes business performance
Results are easier to interpret by separating net interest income, fees and insurance earnings. Loan growth should be considered alongside arrears and loss provisions; investment services alongside flows and assets under management. Deposit costs, channel efficiency and regulatory capital constrain how each business can grow.
